Sonic Season
The Country Band
SONIC SEASON, founded in January 2001, can look back on 25 successful years: Shortly after its foundation, the band made it to the finals of a European newcomer competition called "Emergenza", arousing the interest of various booking agents and local media.
The albums "INDIAN SUMMER" (2002), "IDAHO" (2003), "MOTHER EARTH" (2006) and "CHANGES AND STEADINESS" (2012) led to the breakthrough of Sonic Season in Luxembourg by charting in the Top Ten. These albums combine different styles from Ballads, Latin and Pop to Rock music. Furthermore, the band was asked to play at the big local festivals.
The latest album "Circle Of Life", released in 2018, was written and produced by Sonja Hewer and Miko Vogelgesang and it shows a wide range of musical genres: From Country over Rock, Bluegrass and Swing to American Folk music. Thus, the music is a pure playground for the musicians of Sonic Season, who often dare unusual crossovers.
The band is currently working on a new album. The first single "Easy Rider" will be released soon, together with a video.
The current line-up consists of Sonja Hewer (songwriting, vocals, ac. guitar, el. guitar), Chris Conrad (songwriting, vocals, el. guitar, ac. guitar), Markus "Schneck" Müller (bass), Chris Guckeisen (drums) and Stefan Lauer (keyboards). The band knows how to capture their audience with this variety of handmade music, combined with a charismatic stage presence. Remarkable about SONIC SEASON are the expressive vocals, the melodic guitars, the arrangements that quickly catch your ears and an unbridled joy of performing live on stage.
